Music is a space for learning, but also for expression and self-discovery. Whether you are just beginning to sing, want to understand your voice better or dream of accompanying yourself on guitar, I offer an approach tailored to each person’s experience, interests and pace.
01 · Voice
The Voice and Singing
The voice is a living instrument, intimately connected to our body, our breathing and the way we are in the world. Learning to sing means discovering how the voice works, refining our listening and developing the confidence to let our voice be heard.
My vocal teaching draws in particular on Modern Singer Technique (TCM), an approach based on the physiological and acoustic functions of the voice. It helps singers understand their instrument, explore its possibilities and develop a vocal balance suited to each individual.
The aim is not to create an ideal voice, but to get to know your own voice better and develop greater freedom, ease and expressiveness.
02 · Listening
The Kodály Approach
The Kodály approach places singing and listening at the heart of musical learning. It encourages the gradual development of rhythm, pitch accuracy, musical memory and musical understanding through direct experience.
Through adapted vocal and rhythmic exercises, we learn to listen more closely, recognise relationships between sounds and build a solid musical foundation.
This approach can enrich the musical journey of singers, as well as anyone wishing to develop their ear and deepen their understanding of music.
03 · Guitar
Guitar and Singing Accompaniment
I offer guitar lessons focused on accompanying your singing, for beginners as well as those who already have some playing experience.
We work on coordinating voice and instrument, chords, rhythm, smooth chord changes and singing in tune. Songs are chosen according to your musical tastes and interests.
Each lesson combines solid technical foundations with practical music-making in an attentive and relaxed atmosphere. The aim is to build independence and confidence, so you can play and sing with greater ease and enjoyment.
04 · Individual Support
An Approach Tailored to You
Lessons can focus on singing, guitar or a combination of both. We start with your needs, your experience and what you would like to explore.
In-person lessons in the Niort area and online, in French or English.
