Workshops
Exploring together, discovering new possibilities
Workshops offer a space for discovery and exploration. They give us time to observe, experiment and share an experience with others in an attentive and supportive environment.

What’s on offer
Alexander Technique Workshops
01 · Body and movement
Between Posture and Awareness
Discover greater freedom in the way you use yourself
How do we hold ourselves, move and react to everyday situations? Through simple experiences, we explore our movement habits and discover how to reduce unnecessary effort.
Paying attention to balance, coordination and the relationship between the head, neck and back opens up the possibility of moving with greater ease and freedom.
02 · Music and presence
Playing Without Tension
The Alexander Technique for musicians
Playing an instrument engages the body as much as it does our attention. Repetition, concentration and the desire to get things right can sometimes lead to tension that restricts movement.
This workshop offers musicians time to observe how they play, become aware of their habits and explore a freer relationship between the body, the instrument and the sound.
How it works
An Experience to Be Lived
The workshops alternate between periods of exploration, observation and discussion. No previous experience of the Alexander Technique is necessary.
Activities can be adapted to suit each group and the specific needs of participants.
